Me2023

about me

my name is David.
Nice to meet you.

I’ve been sketching out user interfaces and logos since I was in the single digits. I’ve got notebooks full of ’em lining my shelves.

That passion for design has never left me, as more and more notebooks appear on those shelves every couple months. It’s becoming a problem.

every project plants trees

For every project I take on, I plant five trees in Madagascar through a service called Ecologi. You can be the proud owner of some plants halfway across the world. Check out the forest here.

wind-powered hosting

I’m a big believer in renewable energy. Did you know that the internet produces 1.6 billion tons of carbon emissions each year? Your website can represent the beginnings of change.

Chip in a christmas scarf!

5% of profits to charity

Every year, I choose a charity to donate to. This year, I chose the Boise Hive. I also host month-long charity drives benefitting non-profits such as The Community Center and Ukraine relief funds.

websites

I’ve been making websites for 10 years. Since then, I like to think I’ve improved a little bit.

Pink Robot Studios websites are built using  WordPress, the most popular and powerful website creation tool on the planet.

logos

Beyond a great website, having a distinct visual style is crazy important to building your brand.

Making a logo with me means a finely-crafted project where we’re not done until you’re completely satisfied with the result.
